In a major drug bust in Kasaragod, four persons, including two women, were arrested on Monday for smuggling 100 grams of MDMA, valued at around Rs6 lakh. The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammed Sahad (26) from Adoor, P.M. Shanavas (42) from Vidyanagar, his wife Sharifa (40), and P.M. Shuaiba (38) from Melparamba.

The Kasaragod police intercepted the drug smuggling operation and seized the MDMA during the raid at Manjakkal. Preliminary investigations suggest that the drugs were sourced from Bengaluru.
