Former Teacher Zaheera Fathima Arrested for Stealing Gold and Diamonds

The Subramanya Nagar police arrested 64-year-old Zaheera Fathima, a former teacher from Mysuru, on March 10, and recovered 78 grams of gold valuables and a 12-gram diamond bracelet worth Rs8 lakh. These items were allegedly stolen from a gold exhibition in Bengaluru.

Zaheera Fathima, a resident of Udayagiri, has been living alone after the death of her husband and is suffering from a cardiac condition. The police made the arrest after an investigation into the theft, leading to the recovery of the stolen goods.
