Jackson Woman Arrested for Murder of Damion Reed

A 30-year-old woman, Rashaan Wallace, has been arrested and charged with the murder of 33-year-old Damion Reed following a deadly shooting in Jackson.

According to the Jackson Police Department, officers responded to a call at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 23, in the 5300 block of Brookhollow Drive. Upon arrival, they found Reed fatally shot. Despite efforts to provide assistance, Reed was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police quickly launched an investigation, which led to Wallace’s arrest. She now faces a murder charge in connection to Reed’s death.
