Former Church Volunteer Arrested on Child Sexual Assault Charges

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case of a former church volunteer who was arrested on charges of child sexual assault.

Isidro Andrade Ramos, 52, was taken into custody on Tuesday and is currently being held at the Montgomery County Jail on a $75,000 bond. Ramos previously volunteered at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cleveland, Texas, where he served as the children’s choir instructor.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are concerned that there may be other victims connected to his actions. Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
