Five men were arrested in Love County on Monday and charged with drug trafficking after authorities discovered over 25 pounds of marijuana in their possession. The men—Bao Hy, Brandon Lee, Andy Zheng, Yency Degrate, and Demarcus Lewis—were allegedly involved in drug trafficking and conspiracy after meeting at the WinStar Casino in Thackerville.
Court documents reveal that the men were carrying $24,257 in suspected drug money at the time of their arrest. In addition to drug trafficking charges, the men face charges of conspiracy and acquiring proceeds from drug activity.
All five men were held in Love County Jail on a $250,000 bond. Bao Hy and Andy Zheng were released after posting bond.
If convicted, each man could face up to life in prison for their involvement in the drug trafficking operation.
