Five Arrested for Murder of 26-Year-Old Man in Coimbatore

In a significant breakthrough, Coimbatore police arrested five men in connection with the murder of 26-year-old R. Gokulakrishnan late on Saturday night. The arrested men, Praveen alias ‘Japan’, Chandru, Suriya, Nagaraj, and Sanjay, all residents of Kempatty Colony, were taken into custody on Sunday.

The murder occurred in the Selvapuram area, where Gokulakrishnan, also a local resident, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. According to authorities, the five suspects, who have all been identified as close acquaintances of the victim, are believed to have been involved in the crime.

Police investigations are ongoing, and further details are expected as the case progresses.
