Fargo’s Derek McClarren Charged in Moorhead Hit-and-Run

A Fargo man, 55-year-old Derek McClarren, has been charged following a hit-and-run incident last Tuesday in Moorhead, Minnesota.

McClarren faces several charges, including criminal vehicular operation, hit-and-run, open bottle, and a 4th-degree DWI. According to police reports, McClarren struck a person in the 2400 block of 28th Avenue South while the individual was attempting to assist a woman whose car was stuck in a snowbank.

After hitting the person, McClarren fled the scene but was apprehended by police shortly after. He is currently being held in the Clay County Jail.
