Fargo Driver Arrested for DUI After Crashing Into Guardrail

FARGO, N.D. — Police arrested a 36-year-old Fargo man, Peter Ochsner, early Monday, July 29, after crashing his car into a guardrail at a Fargo underpass.

The crash occurred just before 1 a.m. near the underpass of 45th Street and Third Avenue North, north of Main Avenue. Police say Ochsner’s car veered off the road and struck the guardrail, causing severe damage to the car’s front end. A piece of metal from the railing became lodged in the vehicle’s engine.

Ochsner was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and was subsequently taken to jail. He now faces charges for DUI, DUI refusal, and damaging property.
