The Excise Department Special Task Force has arrested two individuals on charges of drug peddling and seized 2 kg of marijuana from their possession in KPHB on Wednesday.
The arrested individuals, identified as Jagan Mohan and Arun Kumar, reportedly procured marijuana from drug dealers in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The duo smuggled the drug into Hyderabad, where they sold it to consumers at high rates.
The Excise Department has launched an investigation to determine the full extent of their operations and identify any other individuals involved in the drug trade.
