LIBERTY, Mo. (KCTV) — A stolen vehicle alert from the Flock camera system led to the arrest of 32-year-old Euxandre Leon on Tuesday in Liberty, Missouri.
Officers used the Flock system to detect that the vehicle did not match the registration on its license plate. Upon locating the stolen vehicle in a shopping district, officers saw Leon exit a business and return to the car. When they approached, Leon was found with a loaded handgun in his waistband and a container holding a “rock-like substance,” which later tested positive for fentanyl.
Leon was arrested without incident and charged with second-degree drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with a motor vehicle, and unlawful use of a weapon.
A Clay County judge set his bond at $100,000.
