In a shocking incident, the Erode North Police have arrested a man for allegedly attempting to murder his 4-year-old son. The accused, identified as Thirumalaiselvan, reportedly tried to harm his child after a series of domestic disputes.
According to the police, T. Suganya (23), the wife of Thirumalaiselvan, had been living with him in Madurai along with their two children, Omisha (7) and Nikil (4). Due to frequent quarrels with her husband, often fueled by his drunken behavior, Suganya decided to move with her children to Erode and take refuge at her parents’ house a month ago.
The incident came to light when Suganya noticed the disturbing behavior and promptly reported it to the authorities. Police have arrested Thirumalaiselvan, who is facing charges of attempted murder. Investigations are ongoing to understand the full scope of the case.
