Erica Napper Arrested for SNAP Fraud in Tate County

TATE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Erica Napper, a Mississippi resident, was arrested on September 24 after an investigation revealed she had committed SNAP fraud.

The Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) Investigations Division stated that Napper had received $25,222 in SNAP benefits by inaccurately reporting her household income and composition. The indictment was issued on August 7.

MDHS Inspector General Sandra Griffith praised the collaboration among the investigations team, county offices, the District Attorney’s office, and local law enforcement in bringing the case to resolution.
