Emily J. Taylor Arrested for Methamphetamine Possession in Illinois

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) — A woman was arrested in Williamson County, Illinois after authorities discovered methamphetamine and other illegal items during a traffic stop.

The incident occurred on Friday, December 20, at 9:05 a.m. Deputies traveling southbound on Market Road near Timberline Drive noticed a vehicle traveling northbound, which they recognized as frequently operated by Emily J. Taylor. The driver matched Taylor’s description — a white female of moderate build with dark hair.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Taylor had an active arrest warrant for methamphetamine possession. Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Market and Texas Avenue, where Taylor was positively identified as the driver.

During the stop, deputies found methamphetamine, hypodermic syringes, drug paraphernalia, and an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. As a result, Taylor was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Taylor was transported to the Williamson County Jail, where she was remanded into custody.
