Elvis Vizueth Arrested in Louisiana Credit Card Fraud Case

CONCORDIA PARISH, La. – A Texas man was arrested after attempting to pick up a fraudulent $5,000 purchase at a Louisiana business, authorities said.

Suspicious Transaction Leads to Investigation
On February 27, 2025, a local business owner reported a fraudulent credit card transaction to the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO). The owner became suspicious after noticing the billing address and name did not match the customer’s driver’s license.

Investigators discovered the provided driver’s license number actually belonged to someone in Bossier Parish. CPSO officers then set up at the business, waiting for the suspect.

Suspect Fled But Was Caught
When Elvis Vizueth, 30, of Athens, Texas, arrived to collect the merchandise, authorities confronted him. He fled the scene on foot but was caught after a brief chase.

Charges Filed Against Vizueth
Vizueth was booked into the Concordia Parish Correctional Facility on the following charges:

Resisting a Police Officer with Force or Violence
Identity Theft
Credit Card Fraud
Theft Greater Than $1,000
Misrepresentation During Booking
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities urge businesses to remain vigilant against fraudulent transactions.
