“Elijah Belgarde Arrested After Fleeing Pursuit in West Fargo”

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A police pursuit in West Fargo on the night of February 11 led to the arrest of 23-year-old Elijah Belgarde from Fargo. Officers initially tried to stop Belgarde for an outstanding warrant and a suspended license. However, Belgarde fled from the scene, prompting officers to deploy a pursuit intervention technique.

Despite this, Belgarde continued driving, eventually coming to a stop after hitting a squad car and several parked vehicles. No injuries were reported during the pursuit or crash.

Belgarde was arrested on charges of fleeing from law enforcement, reckless endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant. His reckless actions led to a significant public safety concern, but fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.
