A significant drug trafficking operation was disrupted in Langley, B.C., with eight arrests and over $3.4 million worth of illegal substances, firearms, and cash seized. The joint investigation, involving Langley RCMP and the BC Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), began in December 2022 and revealed links to local gangs and organized crime.

In April and May 2023, 10 search warrants were executed across multiple Lower Mainland cities, leading to the seizure of over 8 kg of fentanyl, 15 kg of MDMA, and more than $40,000 in cash. The operation also uncovered precursor chemicals for drug manufacturing, which could have produced up to 148 kg of MDMA and 139 kg of fentanyl.

Eight suspects, including Raymond Brown (31), Nathanual Brown (27), and others, face charges of trafficking, conspiracy, and firearms possession. Seven suspects are in custody, with one remaining on the run.

The bust highlights the ongoing battle against organized crime and the harm caused by illicit drugs in the community.
