Dylan Martin Arrested for Armed Robbery at Newington Cumberland Farms

A Bristol man, Dylan Martin, 32, was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Cumberland Farms store in Newington on Christmas night.

According to Newington Police, Martin entered the Cumberland Farms located on Cedar Street (Route 175) around 7:56 p.m. on December 25, armed with a knife, and demanded money. Police later tracked him down with the help of a K-9 unit to the CT Fastrak busway walkway.

When Martin spotted the officers, he attempted to flee, but was quickly apprehended by the officers and the K-9.

Martin is now facing several charges, including second-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, interference with an officer, and failure to pay or plea. His bond has been set at $50,000.
