Dustin Lee Conway Arrested for Stolen Vehicles and Firearms

In Cleveland County, Oklahoma, investigators acted on an anonymous tip regarding two suspected stolen excavators on a property. On Monday, the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) received the information, prompting a visit to the site the following day.

Authorities noted one of the excavators and several other vehicles clearly visible from the road. After receiving no response at the door, investigators secured a search warrant based on suspicions of stolen property.

During the search, deputies discovered a Chevy Suburban reported stolen in Norman. The investigation continued to reveal a concerning array of weapons, including three rifles—two equipped with homemade suppressors—three shotguns, a pistol, and over 500 rounds of ammunition. The firearms were connected to 44-year-old Dustin Lee Conway, a convicted felon.

Conway was subsequently arrested and booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center. He faces multiple charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of surveillance equipment in the commission of a felony, seven counts of possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
