Donna Milligan Arrested in Dorchester County Meth Distribution Case

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – Donna Milligan was arrested this week by the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office and the Summerville Police Metro Narcotics Unit on charges related to drug distribution. Milligan faces three counts of methamphetamine distribution, according to a statement from sheriff’s spokesman Steven Wright.

On Tuesday, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 100 block of Scotts Range Road in Dorchester County, which led to Milligan’s arrest. The operation was part of an ongoing investigation by the Metro Narcotics Unit, who had previously conducted several controlled methamphetamine purchases from Milligan.

As the investigation continues, deputies and the Narcotics Unit anticipate additional charges being filed against the suspect.

Sheriff Sam Richardson issued a statement following the arrest, emphasizing the agency’s commitment to addressing illegal drug activity in the community:

“The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is committed to combating illegal drug activity and protecting the safety of our community. We will continue to use every available resource to investigate and hold accountable those who distribute drugs and harm our residents. This case highlights the strength of our collaborative efforts with the Metro Narcotics Unit and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to making our streets safer.”
