Thiruvananthapuram Police Bust Major Overseas Job Fraud; Mother-Son Duo Arrested

In a significant crackdown on an overseas job scam, the Thiruvananthapuram City police arrested two individuals involved in duping several job seekers with false promises of employment abroad. The accused, identified as Dolsey Josephine Saju and her son Rohit Saju, natives of Wayanad, were apprehended on Tuesday by the Museum police based on multiple complaints lodged against them.

The scam, which has defrauded many aspirants of substantial amounts of money, was conducted through a travel and logistics company operated by the duo and Dolsey’s husband, Saju Simon, in Sasthamangalam. The trio lured victims by offering Canadian visas and job opportunities, leaving many hopefuls stranded after parting with large sums in exchange for these false promises.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone who may have fallen victim to the scam to come forward. This arrest marks a major step toward curbing fraudulent job schemes that prey on individuals seeking opportunities abroad.
