Diamond Robinson Arrested in Connection to Armed Robbery at Macon Dollar General

MACON, Ga. — Diamond Robinson, a 26-year-old woman from Macon, was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Dollar General store on Jeffersonville Road.

The robbery occurred just before 10:04 p.m. at the Dollar General located at 4471 Jeffersonville Road, where the suspect is alleged to have committed the crime. On Friday, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) announced that Robinson was apprehended near the 2400 block of Goodwin Drive.

Robinson was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and faces serious charges, including two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of kidnapping, possession of a firearm during a crime, and armed robbery.

Authorities continue to investigate the case, and more details will be shared as they emerge.
