Devin DeLoach Arrested for Fatal Shooting of Dontavious Holsey

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) has arrested 18-year-old Devin DeLoach in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in September, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Dontavious Holsey.

The shooting, which took place on September 30 near Wallace Road and Johnson Road in Macon, also left a 17-year-old injured. Investigators later identified DeLoach as the primary suspect in Holsey’s murder and issued a warrant for his arrest.

DeLoach was apprehended at his home in Jones County without incident. He has been charged with murder and is currently being held without bond at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
