Desirable Peterman, 35, Arrested for DWI After Crashing into Sign in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) – 35-year-old Desirable Peterman is facing DWI charges after allegedly crashing into a sign at a Moorhead business over the holiday weekend.

Police stopped Peterman around 11:30 p.m. Saturday on 8th Street, after noticing she was driving 58 miles per hour in a 30-mile-per-hour zone. Court records say she failed both field sobriety tests and a breathalyzer test. Peterman has two prior DWI convictions.

During the arrest, another officer was investigating reports of a reckless driver who had struck a sign near the 400 Block of 8th Street. Officers found damage to the Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Services sign, along with tire tracks, paint color, and vehicle parts that matched Peterman’s car.

Peterman is scheduled for a court appearance on December 19.
