The Derabassi police are continuing their aggressive campaign against drug trafficking as part of the Yudh Nashiyan Virudh initiative, and their efforts are making a noticeable impact. On Sunday, for the fourth consecutive day, police raided Trivedi Camp, a notorious drug hotspot in Derabassi. As a result of these efforts, many drug peddlers have fled the area, abandoning their homes.
Under the supervision of DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar, police teams from the Derabassi police subdivision carried out raids on the homes of suspected drug traffickers in Trivedi Camp. However, by the time the police arrived, the traffickers had already fled. During the raid, the police managed to seize 20 grams of heroin and arrested three individuals: Yusuf Masih, Suraj Kumar, and Naresh alias Teetar, all of whom are residents of Deha Basti in Trivedi Camp.
