Deon Fields Arrested in Lexington Assault Case

Lexington, KY — Deon Fields, 31, was arrested Tuesday by Georgetown Police in connection with an assault that occurred in Lexington earlier this year.

Detectives from Lexington Police were dispatched to a local hospital on November 4, where a female victim was being treated for injuries from a physical assault. The investigation revealed that the assault took place on November 2 in the 4,100 block of Georgetown Road.

Fields was arrested on an attempted murder warrant, along with other unrelated charges. He is currently being held at the Scott County Detention Center, where he is awaiting extradition to Fayette County for further proceedings.
