Deon Brooks Arrested for $1M High-End Vehicle Theft in Macomb County

WARREN, Mich. (FOX 2) – A Warren man, Deon Charleston Brooks, has been arrested and charged with stealing high-end vehicles valued at over $1 million in Macomb County. Brooks, 24, was arraigned for conducting a criminal enterprise after allegedly stealing vehicles from several dealerships in three separate incidents.

Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office officials announced that Brooks has been under investigation for some time. He now faces charges related to theft and operating a criminal enterprise.

The first incident occurred between August 2023 and February 2024, when Brooks allegedly stole vehicles from two dealerships in Washington Township—Serra Cadillac and Heidebreicht Chevrolet. On February 29, 2024, Brooks was spotted driving off the Heidebreicht Chevrolet lot in a stolen vehicle. When officers attempted to stop him, he fled, but they quickly deployed stop sticks, leading to his arrest.

A year later, on February 3, 2025, Brooks allegedly stole more vehicles from a General Motors lot in Warren. He was arrested and arraigned in Warren, facing charges of conducting a criminal enterprise.

Brooks is expected to appear in court later this month. He faces additional charges, though dealership representatives and General Motors have declined to comment on the incidents.
