Delhi Police Arrests Wanted Murder Accused Sunny After 4 Years

The Delhi Police Special Cell has successfully apprehended 26-year-old Sunny, a wanted criminal who had been evading arrest for over four years. Hailing from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, Sunny was involved in a double murder case in Narela in June 2020 and had been declared a proclaimed offender by the court. The police recovered a pistol from his possession at the time of his arrest.

Sunny was arrested from the Najafgarh area on January 12 after a tip-off about his location. The Special Cell had been tracking him for some time, and he was caught near Sunday Bazar Road in Najafgarh. During his time on the run, Sunny, along with his associates, was involved in several criminal activities, including the killing of two factory guards during a robbery and stealing petrol and diesel from underground pipelines.

Sunny had been working in the Narela area as an AC repairman and had studied up to Class 12 before becoming involved in a life of crime. The police are continuing their investigation into his criminal activities, and Sunny will face charges related to the murders and other offenses.
