Delhi Police Arrests Ajay Babu Lal in Rs 12 Lakh Drug Bust

In a significant drug trafficking operation, the Delhi Police arrested Ajay Babu Lal, aged 63, for possession of drugs worth Rs 12 lakh. The arrest took place on August 29 near Vikas Marg, close to the Laxmi Nagar Metro Station, where an Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) team from the Crime Branch had set up a trap.

Ajay Babu Lal was caught with a substantial quantity of narcotics, including 1,200 grams of charas (cannabis resin) and 9 grams of heroin. The police seized the contraband, marking another successful operation in their ongoing battle against drug trafficking.

The police continue to investigate the network behind this illegal drug trade and expect further developments in the case.
