The Delhi Police have successfully arrested three drug peddlers and seized a total of 170 grams of MDMA, also known as Molly or Ecstasy, with an estimated value of Rs 85 lakh. The accused were involved in supplying drugs in the Mahipalpur area of southwest Delhi.
According to officials, acting on a tip-off, the police team conducted a raid on February 24 near Masoodpur village. During the operation, three suspects attempted to flee, but two of them—Md Rahul (23) and SK Sabir (36)—were apprehended.
A search of the suspects’ possession led to the recovery of 97 grams of MDMA. Following their arrest, the duo revealed the involvement of their accomplice, Md Babul, who had escaped the scene. On February 28, police tracked down and arrested Babul, recovering an additional 73 grams of MDMA from him.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Surendra Choudhary confirmed the arrests and the seizure, adding that further investigations are underway. The police continue their efforts to dismantle the drug trafficking network operating in the region.
