In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police have arrested a 27-year-old man, Arun, who was involved in robbing Rs 5.5 lakh in cash and valuables meant for a wedding in the Bharat Nagar area of northwest Delhi. The crime led to the cancellation of the wedding planned by the victim’s family.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northwest), Abhishek Dhania, Arun is a habitual offender, with a history of 11 previous robbery and theft cases. He was arrested from the Wazirpur area after police launched an extensive investigation into the theft, which occurred on November 26.
