Decatur Man Tarius Pickett Arrested on Drug and Firearm Charges

Tarius Lamont Pickett, 33, of Decatur, was arrested on Monday after Decatur Police executed a search warrant at his residence on Clara Avenue SW. The arrest followed a month-long investigation into drug complaints. During the search, police found a large quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm. Pickett faces charges of unlawful possession of marijuana in the first degree, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. He is being held at the Morgan County Jail on a $7,800 bond.
