DeAnna Pappas, former star of The Bachelorette, has been arrested on a domestic battery charge following an alleged altercation with her ex-husband, Stephen Stagliano, in the early hours of February 27, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Pappas was taken into custody but later released the same day on a $20,000 bond.
The ex-couple, who were married for 11 years, announced their divorce in January 2023, which was finalized last June. They share two children, Addison, 11, and Austin, 9.
Further details emerged one week after the arrest, when Stephen’s mother, Lynn Stagliano, filed a court declaration on March 7. According to E! News, she claimed that she “very clearly smelled alcohol” on Pappas’ breath while picking up Austin for school.
In response, Pappas, 43, filed a domestic violence restraining order against Stagliano, 40, on the same day, citing multiple incidents of verbal and physical abuse, some allegedly witnessed by their children. She also provided details about the events leading to her arrest.
This latest development adds further legal drama to the former reality star’s high-profile divorce.
