David Wills Charged with Multiple Shoplifting Offenses

A man has been charged with a series of shoplifting offenses in Coventry as police continue their efforts to combat business crime.

David Wills, 37, from Coventry, faces charges related to 15 shop thefts and five counts of breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order. These offenses occurred primarily during May and June at retail parks in Coventry.

Wills has been remanded in custody and appeared at Coventry Magistrates Court on Friday.

West Midlands Police emphasized their awareness of the significant impact that shoplifting has on businesses of all sizes. “It’s a crime which can affect livelihoods. We routinely conduct high-visibility patrols in retail areas, along with other initiatives, to trace and apprehend offenders.”
