On November 23, 2024, Delaware State Police arrested 32-year-old David Frasier from Lincoln, Delaware, following a hit-and-run incident involving a stolen vehicle. The incident occurred around 9:29 a.m. when Frasier stole an unoccupied white Ford Econoline delivery truck while its driver was delivering packages on Johnson Road in Lincoln.
Frasier drove the stolen truck westbound on Johnson Road, heading toward Dupont Boulevard. There, he crashed the vehicle into a white BMW that was stopped at a red light. Despite the crash, Frasier fled the scene, continuing to drive recklessly and spilling packages from the truck onto the road. He eventually abandoned the stolen truck and fled on foot.
Witnesses provided police with a description of Frasier, and officers from the Milford Police Department quickly apprehended him without further incident. Further investigation confirmed that Frasier was the individual responsible for both the vehicle theft and the crash.

The occupants of the BMW were not injured in the incident. After being arraigned, Frasier was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a cash bond of $42,506.
