David Chomicz Arrested for Fentanyl Distribution in Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Police Department has arrested David Chomicz, 41, of Andover, on charges of Distribution of a Class A Substance (subsequent offense) following an ongoing narcotics investigation.

The Arrest:
On Tuesday, March 4, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Chomicz was taken into custody without incident after allegedly selling 9.8 grams of fentanyl in the Ames Hill Drive area.

What Police Found:

Two bundles of cash totaling $312
A digital scale
Drug-related paraphernalia
During the investigation, authorities believed Chomicz was under the influence of narcotics. As a precaution, he was taken to a local hospital for evaluation before being transported back to the Tewksbury Police Department.

Chomicz is scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Wednesday, March 5.
