Daniel Sevigny Arrested After Fleeing Before Sentencing

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Ontario County deputies have arrested Daniel Sevigny, a 43-year-old convicted sex offender who fled before his sentencing on sexual predatory assault charges involving a minor.

Authorities say Sevigny, also known as “ZERO,” removed his ankle monitor and disappeared on March 14 before he could be sentenced. After weeks of searching, deputies located and arrested him on Chapin Street in Canandaigua on Tuesday morning.

Sevigny is now set to return to court, where he will face sentencing for his crimes.
