Daniel and Dylan Stuckey Charged in LCBO Theft Spree

Brampton, Ontario — A father and son have been arrested and charged with a total of 116 offences related to a string of retail thefts, including multiple incidents at LCBO locations in Brampton.

Daniel Stuckey, 55, and his son Dylan Stuckey, 32, were apprehended earlier this week following an investigation by Peel Regional Police and the LCBO Organized Crime Investigative Unit. The investigation, dubbed Project Bloodline, focused on a series of thefts along Steeles Avenue, between Kennedy and Dixie Roads.

According to police, Daniel Stuckey faces 22 charges, including:

11 counts of theft under $5,000

7 counts of breach of probation

Dylan Stuckey has been charged with 94 offences, including:

10 counts of wearing a disguise with intent

48 counts of theft under $5,000

3 counts of robbery

Police also confirmed that Dylan was wanted on four warrants in Halton and Niagara regions at the time of arrest.

“Both men were already facing numerous charges and were under multiple probation orders,” Peel police said in a statement.

Deputy Chief Marc Andrews commented, “With Project Bloodline, we have effectively disrupted criminal behavior that was impacting community safety. Our proactive policing has led to meaningful arrests.”

The suspects are being held pending further court proceedings.
