Peel police have taken 18-year-old Damian Walker into custody in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager in Brampton last month.
Initially treated as a suspicious death, the incident occurred on April 23 near Beach Street and Church Street East.
On Thursday, police confirmed that the victim, a male under 18, was shot and killed in the incident.
Authorities publicly named Damian Walker as the suspect, describing him as possibly armed and dangerous.
On Friday, Peel police announced Walker’s arrest on charges of second-degree murder.
