EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force has arrested two individuals following an extensive drug investigation.
Authorities say 53-year-old Curtis Esters was charged with dealing meth, while 45-year-old Antrea Esters faces a charge of maintaining a common nuisance.
Investigators used an informant to purchase over a pound of meth from Curtis Esters between September and October, conducting five separate buys—mostly in the 700 block of Covert Avenue. One of the transactions reportedly took place at the home of James Koutz, who had previously been arrested by the Drug Task Force.
During one of the drug buys, Antrea Esters was allegedly caught on camera handling meth.
When executing a search warrant at the Esters’ residence, officers also seized a handgun and a revolver.
Both were taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail, though Antrea Esters has since been released.
