Corey Struve, known for her YouTube channel “Trav and Cor,” was arrested on Sunday in Pebble Beach, California, on charges of public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on an officer.
The 37-year-old influencer was reportedly celebrating her birthday at a local bar when she became belligerent. According to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department, Struve was asked to return to her hotel room by security, but refused. Officers were called to the scene, and Struve allegedly continued to resist, kicking one of the arresting officers.
Struve’s mugshot reflects her apparent displeasure with the situation. However, a source close to Struve claims she was not resisting arrest, stating she was roughly handled by officers, resulting in injuries to her shoulder, arm, and face. Her attorney, Scott Erdbacher, expressed concern over the aggressive nature of the arrest and mentioned that Struve is being evaluated for bruising, numbness, and loss of mobility in her arm.
The incident contrasts sharply with Struve’s usual upbeat persona on her YouTube channel, where she shares videos with her husband Travis Talbott and their children. The channel, which has over 6.2 million subscribers, is known for pranks, skits, and family-friendly content. Despite the arrest, Struve’s legal team maintains that she did not commit any misconduct against the officer involved.
