A 44-year-old man from Aberdeen, North Carolina, was arrested Tuesday after being accused of assaulting his girlfriend in a violent domestic attack. Corey Rucker was taken into custody following an investigation by the Aberdeen Police Department into an assault that reportedly occurred on Sunday in the Berkley community.
The victim, who was in a dating relationship with Rucker, told authorities that she was assaulted and strangled multiple times at her home.
