Colton Faulkner Arrested for Fraud at Felton Hardware Store

Felton police arrested 26-year-old Colton Faulkner after an investigation revealed he had been using his former employer’s business account to fraudulently purchase thousands of dollars worth of equipment at Felton Hardware Store. The fraud reportedly took place between March 2024 and the present, and was uncovered after the former employer noticed discrepancies in their account.

Details of the Fraud Scheme
Faulkner charged the merchandise to his former employer’s account without authorization, leading to a substantial financial loss. After discovering the discrepancies, the former employer alerted the police, prompting an investigation. Faulkner was identified as the suspect and turned himself in to the Felton Police on Saturday.

Charges and Bail
Faulkner has been charged with theft by false pretense over $1500, theft by false pretense under $1500, and attempt to commit theft by false pretense under $1500. Following his arrest, he was issued a no-contact order with the victims and released on a $22,001 unsecured bond.
