Collyn Drake Arrested for Vehicle Theft and Burglary in Snyder County

SELINSGROVE, PA — A 29-year-old man from Millville was arrested after DNA evidence linked him to a vehicle theft and burglary in Snyder County.

Collyn Drake was taken into custody following the discovery of his DNA on a cigarette butt found in a stolen vehicle. The investigation into the theft began on April 1, 2024, when a pickup truck was reported missing from a Monroe Township driveway.

Police later connected Drake to a burglary at a nearby residence and the theft of a wallet. DNA testing on the discarded cigarette confirmed his involvement in the crimes. As a result, Drake was charged with theft, burglary, and identity theft.

Drake’s bail was set at $50,000, and he remains in custody as the case progresses.
