Cody Mallard Arrested in Watertown for Drug Trafficking Operation

WATERTOWN, Conn. (WFSB) – A 31-year-old Branford man, Cody Mallard, was arrested on Wednesday morning following a traffic stop in Watertown.

The Watertown Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop near Sylvian Lake Road and Falls Avenue. During the investigation, officers seized nine pounds of marijuana packaged in vacuum-sealed bags, airtight containers, and plastic bags. Police also found scales, packaging materials, and $2,136 in cash in the vehicle.

Mallard was arrested on multiple charges, including operating a drug factory, sale and possession of a controlled substance, and violating a protective order.

He has been set a bond of $30,000 and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court later this week.
