A 42-year-old man from Eagle Springs, Clifton Copeland, is facing multiple drug charges following a search conducted by detectives from the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff Ronnie Fields reported that the operation took place on Wednesday at a residence located in the 1400 block of Highway 211. During the search, officials seized suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, suboxone, and various drug paraphernalia.
Copeland has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is currently held at the Moore County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 10. Copeland is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
