Clayton County Man Arrested on Human Trafficking Charges

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A 40-year-old man, Brandon Pritchett, has been arrested on charges of human trafficking, pimping, and keeping a place of prostitution, authorities confirmed on Friday.

Pritchett was apprehended by the Clayton County Police Department’s Human Trafficking Unit after warrants were issued for his arrest. Investigators say he had been trafficking a 20-year-old woman in Atlanta since November 2024.

The investigation into Pritchett’s activities began when he called 911 in early March, claiming that the woman had committed an act of violence against him in an attempt to have her arrested. This led authorities to uncover his involvement in trafficking.

The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit successfully served the warrants and arrested Pritchett without incident. He was transported to the Clayton County Jail, where he awaits further proceedings.

Human trafficking continues to be a growing issue, and local law enforcement agencies are committed to combating this criminal enterprise to protect the community. The sheriff’s office emphasized the importance of addressing human trafficking, a multi-billion-dollar industry that impacts communities nationwide.

Details on Pritchett’s next court appearance were not immediately available, and it is unclear whether he has secured legal representation.
