Waterbury police made multiple arrests Saturday night following an investigation into a stolen vehicle. Officers spotted three individuals in a 2009 Nissan Altima on West Main Street, prompting a police operation. The suspects were identified as 56-year-old Claude Parker, 28-year-old Alina Savage, and 43-year-old Yahaira Lluberes, who were seen exiting the stolen vehicle.
As officers patrolled the area, they observed the trio walking into the Big Apple Motel. Upon investigation, the suspects were arrested and charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. Drug paraphernalia and narcotics were seized during the arrest.
Police also apprehended 29-year-old Hykia Dillard, who was found inside the motel room with the others. Dillard faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
All four suspects are currently facing legal proceedings in connection with the stolen vehicle and drug-related charges.
