Chuco Tango Gang Member Benjamin Rodriguez Arrested on Drug Charges

EL PASO, Texas — A reputed member of the Chuco Tango gang, Benjamin Alan Rodriguez, was arrested on October 23 in East El Paso on drug-related charges, according to the El Paso County Constable’s Office Precinct Three.

Rodriguez, 30, was apprehended based on personal recognizance revocation warrants. He faces two counts of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance, along with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. His total bonds were set at $180,000.

Deputies received a tip regarding the active warrants and conducted the arrest with assistance from the El Paso County Criminal Justice Coordination Department. Rodriguez was arrested without incident in the 6400 block of Edgemere and was booked into the El Paso County Jail.

Rodriguez is identified as a “reputed” member of the Chuco Tango gang, a local group involved in criminal activities. Authorities are continuing to investigate his alleged involvement in drug-related offenses.
