BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS12) — Christopher Robbins, a 25-year-old man from the Croydon section of Bristol Township, has been sentenced to four to eight years in state prison for his role in a burglary spree that terrorized Lower Bucks County.
Judge Wallace Bateman sentenced Robbins last week, also ordering him to serve 10 years of consecutive probation and repay $108,540.17 in restitution to his victims or their insurance companies. This sentence follows Robbins’ guilty plea to charges of burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property.
According to authorities, Robbins broke into homes in Middletown, Lower Makefield, and Northampton Townships during October and November of 2014. His stolen loot included jewelry, coins, cash, computer equipment, camera equipment, and, in one case, a 2005 Subaru Impreza.
Robbins was reportedly flipping the stolen goods, selling them at pawn shops for quick cash. Prosecutors said Robbins attributed his crime spree to a struggle with drug addiction.
With this conviction, Robbins faces significant time behind bars, along with years of probation and the obligation to repay his victims.
