Christopher Campbell Indicted for Aggravated Assault, Robbery in Bangor

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) — Christopher Campbell, 23, of Enfield, has been indicted by a Penobscot County Grand Jury on charges of aggravated assault, stealing drugs, and robbery.

The charges stem from an August 2024 incident at Camp Hope in Bangor, where Campbell allegedly assaulted a man with a weapon. According to authorities, the victim sustained multiple fractured bones in his face as a result of the attack.

Campbell was arrested by Bangor Police following the assault and was subsequently taken to Penobscot County Jail.

The grand jury indictment formalizes the serious charges Campbell faces in connection with the incident. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crime.
